Anthony Edwards Downgraded to Questionable for Sunday

As per Underdog NBA, Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards is now questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors due to an illness.

While Edwards didn’t practice on Friday, it was a scheduled rest day rather than an injury-related absence.

This season, he hasn’t missed a single game, and there was a good chance he’ll be ready to play on Sunday but with the recent update, he’s likely to be on the sidelines.

In the recent game against the Spurs, Anthony Edwards had an impressive performance, finishing with 28 points (9-21 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 8-11 FT), along with seven rebounds, five assists, one block, and two steals in a 117-110 victory.

Throughout this season, Edwards has only fallen short of the 20-point mark once, establishing himself as one of the premier scoring guards in the league, regardless of the defense he faces.

Beyond his scoring ability, Edwards contributes significantly in various other statistical categories, bolstering his overall impact.

In the eight games played so far, he’s maintaining averages of 27.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
