In the latest NBA announcement, Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was named the player of the week for the Western Conference.
This marks Anthony Edwards’ inaugural player of the week award.
His contributions played a key role in Minnesota’s perfect 4-0 record, where he averaged 31.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game in an average of 36.5 minutes on the court.
Currently, the Wolves boast a 7-2 record, sitting just half a game behind the Western Conference’s top spot.
Other nominees included Anthony Davis and Cam Reddish of the Lakers, Luka Dončić of the Mavericks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, Jerami Grant of the Trail Blazers, Nikola Jokić of the Nuggets, and Alperen Sengun of the Rockets.
