Anunoby Cleared for Blazers Game, Achiuwa Still Out

OG Anunoby will be back in action for the Toronto Raptors as they face off against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday evening, as confirmed by Darko Rajakovic, following the report by Blake Murphy of Sportsnet. Unfortunately, Precious Achiuwa will still be sidelined.

Anunoby was given the green light to play in the Raptors’ game last night but had to be ruled out just minutes into the game, leading to the Raptors falling short against the Philadelphia Sixers.

On Friday vs Bulls, Anunoby had to leave the game due to a bilateral muscle cramp injury and seemed to be in discomfort as he left for the locker room.

During his 28 minutes on the court, the 26-year-old managed to contribute 11 points and secure three rebounds before the injury incident.

In the Raptors’ season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anunoby delivered an outstanding performance, adding 20 points to secure a 97-94 victory on Wednesday night.

The Raptors, with a 1-2 record, are eager to turn things around with a victory at home against the 0-3 Trail Blazers on Monday night after consecutive losses to the Bulls and Sixers.

Regarding the Trail Blazers, Robert Williams III (rest) will be taking a break tonight. Additionally, Doup Reath, Ish Wainright, and Anfernee Simons are out.

Please be aware that articles regarding player injuries(including rests) is subject to change before the game, so it’s advisable to check back for updates until the tip-off….
