Barnabas Varga Stretchered Off After Collision with Goalie

Hungary’s striker Barnabas Varga had to be carried off the field during their Euro 2024 match against Scotland due to a severe head injury.

Varga sustained a significant head injury and remained on the ground, causing distress among his teammates.

His  teammates urged medical staff to bring a stretcher swiftly, creating a tense atmosphere in the stadium.

According to reports from the Hungarian media, Varga is conscious and is currently being transported to the hospital.

Despite the injury setback, they had a fortunate day, scoring in the dying moments of the match to secure their first win of the tournament with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of Kevin Csoboth’s goal in the 100th minute.
