Actor Bernard Cribbins died at age 93

Actor Bernard Cribbins has passed away aged 93. This has been made known to the pyblic by the actor’s family on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Bernard Cribbins played Dr Who’s companion, Tom Campbell in the 1966 film Daleks’ Invasion Earth 2150. He however, returned after 41 years, in the revived series.

He played Wilfred Mott, Catherine Tate’s grandad in Doctor Who from 2007 to 2010.

Cribbins published his autobiography in 2018 at the age of 90. In that biography, he talked about the decades he spent in the show business. The biography was titled “Bernard Who? 75 Years Of Doing Absolutely Everything”

He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009, but said in 2018 that he was “in good health” at the age of 90. He however, added that he was with a “nagging back condition.”

Cribbins left no one behind as he has no children. His wife, whom he married in 1955, also died in October 2021.
