2:45 PM : The Portland Trail Blazers have designated guard Scoot Henderson for a return to on-court conditioning by assigning him to their G League affiliate, Rip City Remix, as officially announced by the team.

Henderson hasn’t played in a game since he sprained his right ankle against the Detroit Pistons on November 1, but it looks like he’s getting close to doing so.

After practising for a few games with the Remix, the 2023 No. 3 overall choice might suit no up again shortly if all goes according to plan.

Henderson was having a difficult time before the injury, averaging just 8.8 points, 4.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 4.0 turnovers per game while shooting 34.6 percent from the field. However, once he’s fully recovered, he’ll have plenty of chances to reverse that record.

So far, Skylar Mays has performed admirably at point guard, and Malcolm Brogdon is expected to return soon. When Henderson returns to the lineup, both players should be pushed to the bench.
