On Tuesday, the Portland Trail Blazers officially announced the recall of guard/forward Rayan Rupert and forward Ish Wainright from their G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix.
Ish Wainright, a 6-foot-5 forward, marked his return after missing the Blazers’ initial eight games due to a right calf strain.
His debut for Blazers’ G League affiliate, Rip City Remix, was against the Ontario Clippers, resulting in an 84-122 score.
In 21 minutes on the court, Wainwright contributed 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
As for Rupert, he participated in his second game for the Remix, standing out with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.
With both players back on the Blazers’ roster, there’s a likelihood they’ll get some playing time in the upcoming IST game against the Utah Jazz, especially with Ish Wainwright anticipating his debut with the Trail Blazers.
