The investigation may have been prompted by Giddey’s comments on the issue during the team’s practice today, leading up to their upcoming game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Giddey, questioned during the teams’ practice on Friday regarding the accusations, opted not to address them clearly.
Instead, he informed reporters, “I understand the question, obviously, but there’s no further comment right now”

Mark Daigneault, the Thunder’s head coach, similarly brushed aside questions on Friday concerning the potential distraction, categorizing it as a “personal matter“.

As of now, there is no indication that Josh will be unavailable for the Thunder while the NBA’s investigation unfolds.
He has been a pivot in each of Oklahoma City’s 15 games, maintaining an average of 12.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 27.2 minutes per contest.
