Brogdon OUT vs Kings, Trail Blazers’ Injury Woes Continue

Malcolm Brogdon of the Portland Trail Blazers won’t be making a comeback in tonight’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to a left hamstring strain, as confirmed by the team.

Brogdon’s brief 5-minute stint on the court saw him contribute 5 points, grab a rebound, and dish out an assist before heading to the locker room.

Adding to the Trail Blazers’ already extensive injury roster, Brogdon joins the likes of Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons, Ish Wianwright, and the recently added Robert Williams III.

In Brogdon’s absence, anticipate a dynamic mix of Skylar Mays and Shaedon Sharp taking charge at the point guard position, with the possibility of rookie Rayan Rupert making his mark in the rotation.

Brogdon’s next opportunity to hit the court is slated for Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
