The Denver Broncos have once again brought wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey onto their active roster, as officially announced by the team.
In addition to this, they’ve re-signed wide receiver Michael Bandy to rejoin the practice squad.
Bandy’s status has been fluctuating this season, as he has moved back and forth between the practice squad and being released.
Lil’Jordan Humphrey has been a consistent presence in all seven of the Broncos’ games this season. He has made four receptions, totaling 26 yards and achieving a touchdown.
This roster change became possible because there was an open spot on the 53-man roster.
The reason for this was safety Kareem Jackson’s suspension, which was announced by the NFL, rendering him unavailable for the upcoming two games.
It’s worth noting that Humphrey’s status this season has seen him transition between the practice squad and the active roster.
He has already utilized his three allowed practice-squad elevations for the season.
Therefore, he won’t be able to participate in any more Denver games in 2023 unless he’s on the active roster.
