Caitlin Clark Favorite to Win ROTY, Angel Reese in Close Contention

Despite missing out on a possible Olympic debut with Team USA for the Paris Olympics, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is still making waves.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada, Clark is the favorite to win this year’s Rookie of the Year award. Her closest rivals are Cameron Brink and Angel Reese.

Here are the odds from Bovada:

Caitlin Clark (IND) +900

– Cameron Brink (LAS) +900

– Angel Reese (CHI) +1000

– Rickea Jackson (LAS) +4000

– Kamilla Cardoso (CHI) +5000

– Aaliyah Edwards (WAS) +6000

– Kate Martin (LVA) +7500

– Jacy Sheldon (DAL) +25000

With the regular season about a quarter of the way through, Clark is clearly leading the pack for Rookie of the Year. She is averaging 16.8 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

Despite a shooting percentage of just 37.3% from the field and leading the league in turnovers with 5.6 per game, the Fever is still averaging moderate points per game, scoring 40 points in her last two games.

Clark’s main competition at this stage seems to be Cameron Brink, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, and Angel Reese, the seventh pick.

Brink is averaging 8.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game, while shooting 45% from the field.

Reese is putting up 11.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game, but with a shooting percentage of just 34.6% from the field.
