In preparation for Wednesday’s season opener against Brooklyn, the Cavaliers’ starting center, Jarrett Allen, has been officially declared unavailable.

On the bright side, the Brooklyn Nets have reported no major injuries within their roster.

Allen sustained a bone bruise in his left ankle early in the training camp, causing him to be sidelined since then.

Although he was seen practicing and taking shots after Tuesday’s practice, he won’t be back in time for the start of the season.

Furthermore, point guard Darius Garland is listed as questionable due to a left hamstring strain, but sources suggest that his injury is not of a serious nature.

Lastly, forward Dean Wade’s availability for the season opener is in doubt as he has been unwell.
