The Cleveland Cavaliers have recently made significant moves by signing Sharife Cooper, Pete Nance, and Just Powell to training camp contracts.
As the NBA’s training camp approaches, it’s almost unbelievable how quickly time has passed since their previous season ended against the New York Knicks.
The Cavaliers are gearing up for the upcoming season, which holds considerable importance for their future. In preparation for this, they’ve brought in 3 new players who will participate in training camps.

Sharife Cooper
Sharife Cooper might be a familiar name to some Cavaliers fans, as he has been associated with the organization for the past few seasons and even participated in a few preseason games last year.

His primary playing time, however, has been with the Cleveland Charge. In the previous season, Cooper was a starter in all 25 games for the Cavaliers’ G League affiliate, where he boasted impressive averages of 21.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds.
Pete Nance
Continuing the Nance family legacy with the Cavaliers, Pete Nance, the son of Larry Nance Sr. and brother of Larry Nance Jr., has been signed to a training camp contract after going undrafted.

Nance had a collegiate career spanning four seasons at Northwestern University and one season at the University of North Carolina.
He also participated in all six Summer League games with the Cavs, posting averages of 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
Justin Powell
The Cavaliers are also taking a chance on undrafted player Justin Powell. Powell, a shooting guard, played college basketball at Auburn, Tennessee, and Washington State.

Additionally, he appeared in two games for the Miami Heat during last year’s Summer League.
