Famous British composer, Christopher Gunning, has passed away. He died on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 78. As at the time of writing this article, Christopher Gunning cause of death has not been disclosed.
Gunning has written numerous scores for films and television programs in his career which spans more than four decades. His works include the television series Agatha Christie’s Poirot and La Mante, as well as the films Middleton’s Changeling and When the Whales Came.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Gunning has also composed classical music, including several symphonies and concertos. He has won multiple awards for his music, including four BAFTA Awards and an Ivor Novello Award.
In recognition of Gunning’s contribution to music, he received a BASCA Gold Badge Award on 19 October 2011.[5]
He has four daughters and lives in Hertfordshire.
