Clippers’ Mason Plumlee Sidelined Indefinitely

Los Angeles Clippers center Mason Plumlee has received a diagnosis of a left knee MCL sprain, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

This injury occurred during a collision with Julius Randle in the Los Angeles Clippers’ recent loss to the New York Knicks.

Plumlee is set for a re-evaluation on Thursday in Los Angeles, and it’s probable that he will be sidelined for the remaining two games of the Clippers’ road trip, which includes matchups in Brooklyn on Wednesday and Dallas on Friday.

If this scenario unfolds, Plumlee’s next opportunity to return would be on Sunday against Memphis, but it’s anticipated that he will be out of action for several weeks.

In his absence, Moussa Diabate and P.J. Tucker may see increased playing time as backup centers behind Ivica Zubac.

Notably, the Clippers currently have two vacant roster positions as ESPN’s Bobby Marks notes.
