The Indianapolis Colts have declared that tight end Kylen Granson, dealing with a concussion, and right tackle Braden Smith, nursing hip and wrist issues, will not be available for their Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, reports Mike Chappell of FOX59.
Granson was placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol following the Colts’ Week 6 game and was absent from practice on both Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Smith also missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He was absent from the previous weekend’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with rookie Blake Freeland filling in at right tackle.
Wide receiver Alec Pierce, who left the Colts’ Week 6 loss to the Jaguars with a shoulder injury, was not officially ruled out as of Friday.
He was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice after not practicing on Wednesday.
For the final update on the Colts’ practice report for Week 7, including game status designations, stay tuned for later on Friday.
