Darko Rajaković Expects Gary Trent to Suit Up Tomorrow vs. Celtics; Anunoby Sidelined

Gary Trent Jr. is dealing with a foot problem but practiced on Thursday, and Coach Darko Rajakovic is optimistic he’ll be in Raptors’ in-season tournament opener against the Boston Celtics. Conversely, OG Anunoby is set to miss his third game due to a finger injury.

After being absent for three games, Trent might return on Friday, potentially impacting Gradey Dick and Jalen McDaniels’ playing time. Trent, 24, has been averaging 10.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in eight games.

Anunoby’s limited training using his left hand raises uncertainties about his availability on Friday. He got injured doing household chores, causing him to miss games against the Pistons and Bucks.

The 26-year-old has averages of 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists this season, his seventh with the Raptors. While Otto Porter Jr. initially started, Gradey Dick took over in the last game against the Bucks.
