American basketball player, Dean Wade, has signed a 3-year contract extension with his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
This has been disclosed to ESPN by Dean’s agents. According to the agents; Austin Walton and Adam Papas, the contract extension is worth some $18.5 million.
“Cleveland Cavaliers F Dean Wade has agreed to a three-year, $18.5 million extension, his agents Austin Walton and Adam Papas tell ESPN,” Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN tweeted Saturday evening.
Wade will receive $16.5 million guaranteed, sources close to the parties, say. He can earn $2 million more in incentives.
The forward player. Wade first joined the Cavaliers in 2019 after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft.
He only played 12 games with the Cavaliers during his rookie season, averaging 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in six minutes of play.
