Giancarlo Stanton Exits Yankees Game with Hamstring Injury

New York Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton exited today’s game early due to left hamstring tightness. He’s officially out and won’t return, Bryan Hoch reports. 

Stanton seemed to have strained something while running from second to home in the fourth inning.He is considered day-to-day until the Yankees offer more details on his condition.

Before leaving the game, Stanton was 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored. Over 69 games this season, he has hit 18 home runs, driven in 48 runs, and has a .794 OPS.
