HC Billy Donovan Provides Latest Update on DeMar DeRozan’s Status Ahead of Friday Night

DeMar DeRozan was absent from the Bulls’ Wednesday game against Orlando due to personal reasons, and his return to the team remains uncertain as he addresses a private matter, according to Coach Billy Donovan.

The team will understandably grant DeRozan the necessary time, with Donovan mentioning that his participation in tomorrow’s game is yet to be determined.

The 34-year-old six-time All-Star’s status for the upcoming game is yet to be determined. DeRozan, in his third season with the Bulls and 15th in the NBA, holds averages of 21.2 points and 4.5 assists.

The Bulls, currently standing at 4-8, suffered a narrow loss to the Orlando Magic in their latest matchup. If DeRozan participates in the next game, it will be against the Magic again in the in-season tournament.

However, if he continues to be sidelined, his next chance to hit the court will be on Saturday when the Bulls face the Miami Heat.
