Hornets notes : 3 Potential Candidates to Succeed Mitch Kupchak, Roster Move

The Charlotte Hornets are on the hunt for a replacement for Mitch Kupchak to oversee their basketball operations.

Leading the list of potential candidates, according to Marc Stein, are Jeff Peterson of the Brooklyn Nets, Trajan Langdon of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Matt Lloyd of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Peterson, who works closely with Sean Marks, is of particular interest to Brooklyn, given his strong ties with Hornets’ co-owner Rich Schanll from their time together at the Atlanta Hawks.

Langdon has been considered for key decision-making roles in the past, while Lloyd, who was among Tim Connelly’s initial recruits with the Wolves, brings prior experience from his stints with the Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic.

Roster Move :

The Charlotte Hornets have released Marques Bolden, ending his brief 10-day contract with the team, according to the team’s press release.
