According to reports from Underdog NBA, Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets is now considered a game-time decision for Friday’s in-season tournament opener matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Status alert: Alperen Sengun (ankle) a game-time decision Friday.

This change in status is due to a left ankle sprain that Sengun sustained during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, in which he concluded with 19 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Should Sengun be unavailable to play against the Pelicans, it’s likely that we’ll witness an increased role for Jock Landale.
Additionally, the Rockets might opt for smaller lineups, with Jeff Green potentially seeing more playing time.
Having secured four consecutive victories, the Houston Rockets are in a favorable position as they prepare to face the New Orleans Pelicans, who have been without a win in their past three games.
Tonight, the Rockets will play host to the Pelicans at the Toyota Center, aiming to prolong their winning streak.
