5:28PM : Guard Josh Giddey who was initially listed as questionable due to a hip injury is sidelined for tonight vs Bucks, Per Thunder headcoach Mark Daigneault.
1:57 PM : OKC Thunder’s Josh Giddey may not play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday due to a possible injury to his right hip as he’s listed questionable for tonight. This could mark his first absence from a game since December 23rd.
In Wednesday’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs, Giddey performed impressively, recording 20 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal.
Despite a subpar outing against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, the young guard nearly secured his fourth triple-double of the season.
As the Thunder aims for the top spot in the Western Conference, Giddey has been on a hot streak, averaging 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers over the last 15 games, shooting at an impressive 54.1 percent from the court.
Should Giddey be sidelined tonight, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, and Aaron Wiggins are potential candidates to see increased minutes on the court.
