Kings Make Roster Move Ahead of Blazers Matchup

In preparation for their upcoming game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Sacramento Kings have taken action regarding their recently acquired center, Filip Petrušev.

As reported by James Ham of The Kings Beat, Petrušev has been designated to play for the Kings’ G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.

Last Friday, the Sacramento Kings successfully concluded a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers to secure Filip Petrušev.

This transaction involved him being initially traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Clippers as part of the James Harden deal before ultimately joining the Kings.

Filip Petrušev, the 50th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, is currently in his rookie season in the NBA.

He has made an appearance in just one game, playing for the 76ers, and managed to secure a single rebound during his three minutes on the court.

Looking ahead, the Kings are set to host the Trail Blazers on their home court at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday.

They aim to rectify their recent setbacks, having suffered two consecutive losses against the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets.
