Colby Jones has been summoned by the Kings from the Stockton, their G League affiliate, where he has been showcasing near triple-double performances.

Set to join the Kings for Sunday’s clash against Mavericks, Jones boasts impressive stats, averaging 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 5.5 steals in two Stockton games.

As a 21-year-old rookie, he stands as the sole G League player currently excelling in points, rebounds, assists, and steals/blocks, leading the league in steals per game.

While the Kings’ backcourt is in good health, Kevin Huerter’s status remains uncertain due to a finger sprain, marking him as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Chosen 34th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, Colby Jones, though limited in opportunities, made a notable impact when called upon during Fox’s absence. However, with the return of the All-NBA guard, Jones has slipped out of the regular rotation.

Huerters’ Status :

Concerning Kevin Huerter’s potential absence tomorrow, listed as questionable with a left finger sprain, either Malik Monk or Chris Duarte could step into the starting lineup, while the other assumes additional minutes off the bench.
