The Sacramento Kings have issued an injury update regarding center Alex Len, who sustained a right ankle injury in the second quarter of last night’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The injury transpired during a collision with an adversary, leaving Len incapable of bearing any weight on his right foot as he exited the court.
After undergoing X-ray and MRI examinations conducted by the team, it was confirmed that Len endured a moderate high ankle sprain.
Consequently, Len will be sidelined for the upcoming match against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night and is likely to remain out for an extended period.
Despite only playing 8 minutes, Len managed to contribute 2 points and three assists before the injury forced an early exit.
During Len’s absence, JaVale McGee is anticipated to assume an augmented role, gaining more playing time until Len’s return.
