Los Angeles star player, LeBron James, has become the highest paid player in the NBA. James has surpassed Kevin Durant who enjoyed such ‘title’.
LeBron James becoming the highest paid player in NBA, was not by chance. He achieved this feet after agreeing to a two contract extension with the Lakers.
The contract extension is worth some $97.1 million, and it includes a player option for the 2024-2025 NBA season.
James will now boast of $532 million on-court earnings. Kevin Durant at $508 million previously held that mark.

The contract information was revealed to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN by Rich Paul who is the CEO of Klutch Sports.
“Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has agreed on a two-year, $97.1 million contract extension – including a player option for the 2024-2025 season, @KlutchSports CEO Rich Paul tells ESPN. James had been entering final year of deal worth $44.5M,” Wojnarowski tweeted Wednesday evening.
