Lakers star and arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, LeBron James, has likely been intensifying his conditioning regimen for the upcoming NBA season, much like he has done throughout his 20-year career.
Nevertheless, this preseason has featured a unique twist for the future Hall of Famer. LeBron recently visited Rochester, Minnesota, where he conducted his workouts at Lourdes High School, a modest Catholic school in the town’s southeast region.
To cap off his visit, he pleasantly surprised the entire student body in their auditorium as the school week came to a close.
LeBron James expressed immense gratitude on Instagram for the warm welcome, prayers, love, and support he received during his week at Lourdes High School in Rochester, MN.
He extended his thanks to the school’s faculty, teachers, coaches, principal, and students, praising them for their incredible hospitality.

Although James didn’t disclose the reason for his presence in Minnesota, back in August, his family visited the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
This visit came shortly after his son, Bronny James, who plays for USC, experienced a cardiac arrest during a Trojans practice in July.
Considering the Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to play against the Timberwolves on December 21, it’s possible that LeBron’s return to Minnesota might take on a new significance as a kind of homecoming.
