Liverpool Legend Roberto Firmino Turned Pastor

Former Liverpool striker and Brazil national team member Roberto Firmino has announced on his social media accounts that he has become a pastor at the age of 32.

Firmino, along with his wife, has been ordained as an evangelical pastor at the church they founded together three years ago. The dedication ceremony took place last Sunday in Firmino’s hometown of Maceio.

Currently playing for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, Firmino had a productive last season, participating in 34 matches across all competitions, scoring nine goals, and assisting seven times. According to Transfermarkt, Firmino’s market value is estimated at eight million euros.

Over his career, Firmino has played 587 matches, scoring 177 goals and providing 118 assists across all competitions. His tenure at Liverpool was particularly noteworthy, where he made 211 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 82 goals.
