Moments before their game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic’s point guard Markelle Fultz, who’s been dealing with left knee tendinitis, was unexpectedly ruled out.
Surprisingly, the Magic secured a 112-97 victory in that game. However, for the second time this season, Fultz is now designated as “OUT” on the injury report for the In-Season Tournament (IST) game against the Brooklyn Nets.
Adding to their injury concerns, Gary Harris, who has been struggling with a groin issue, is also marked as “OUT.”
This will be his fifth consecutive game on the sidelines due to the groin injury he sustained in a match against Utah just before halftime.
Rookie Anthony Black is once again set to fill in for the experienced guard Markelle Fultz, while Gary Harris remains absent due to his lingering groin injury.
Fultz will have the opportunity to don his uniform and play in the game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, as Fawzan Amer notes.
