The Memphis Grizzlies have undergone a couple of roster adjustments as they prepare for their upcoming showdown with the Miami Heat this Wednesday.
The Grizzlies, who’ve had a sluggish start to the season, dropping their first six games before securing a recent victory against the Portland Trail Blazers, which brings their road record to 1-6, have made significant announcements.
On Tuesday, the team announced that Jake LaRavia has been designated, while Vince Williams Jr. has been moved to their G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle.

LaRavia, who has participated in five games this season, is currently maintaining an average of 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 35.0% from the field.
He was selected as the 19th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is currently in his second season in the league.
In the previous season, the 22-year-old managed to deliver an impressive performance, averaging 18.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting at a 46.8% accuracy rate in 17 G League regular season matches.
As for Williams Jr., he has appeared in three games this season, maintaining an average of 4.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, shooting at a rate of 28.6% from the field.
He was chosen as the 47th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is also in his second season in the league.
The Grizzlies are gearing up for their upcoming game against the Miami Heat, which will take place on their home court in Tennessee.
In the previous season, they secured the second seed in the Western Conference with a record of 51-31, but unfortunately, they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, in a series that extended to six games.
Although they have managed to clinch a playoff spot for the past three seasons, their success has been limited to winning just one series during that time.
