Speculation surrounding the discontent of Damian Lillard, star of the Portland Trail Blazers, continues to swirl, and this time, it seems that the Milwaukee Bucks have emerged as one of the latest teams’ expressing interest in acquiring the 7 time All-Star guard.
As per the well-regarded NBA insider Marc Spears, the Bucks are one of several teams that Portland has engaged in discussions with regarding a potential trade for their long-standing star player.
With the commencement of training camp just a few days away, the Blazers seem determined to secure a suitable deal for Lillard.
Despite Lillard’s expressed desire to be traded to the Miami Heat, the Blazers’ front office is focused on obtaining the right package to facilitate a rebuild centered around their young talents, specifically Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, and Scoot Henderson.

Beyond this report, there is no clear indication of the Bucks’ level of commitment to pursuing Lillard. Such a move would necessitate a substantial offering of draft picks and/or players, not to mention addressing Milwaukee’s salary cap constraints.
