The Oklahoma City Thunder is scheduled to go head-to-head with the Detroit Pistons at the BOK Center in Tulsa, starting at 7 p.m. CT.

This match, held on a neutral ground, signifies the culmination of Oklahoma City’s five preseason encounters, all of which have exhibited promise from the Thunder’s youthful core in various ways.

Regrettably, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won’t be able to play tonight due to a knee contusion.

Cason Wallace has stepped in to fill his shoes in the Thunder’s ultimate preseason match against the Detroit Pistons.

Coach Mark Daigneault assures us that the issue with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s knee contusion is far from severe.

“ it’s nothing serious” Mark said.

Amongst the other absent players for the Thunder, we have:

Aleksej Pokusevski, who is sidelined with a right ankle sprain.

Victor Oladipo, who is also out due to a knee problem.

Kenrich Williams, who won’t be playing because of back spasms.

Jaylin Williams, who is nursing a hamstring strain.

The starting lineup for the Thunder this evening features Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Olivier Sarr, and Chet Holmgren.

Mark Daigneault expressed his desire to see these players in action during the second half of tonight’s game, without pushing them beyond what was done in the previous match.
