Nic Batum Sidelined for Tuesday’s Game Against Pacers

Nicolas Batum won’t be available for the in-season game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday due to personal reasons.

Batum was inserted into the starting lineup on Sunday in place of the injured Kelly Oubre, but now the experienced forward will be absent for the first game of Philadelphia’s back-to-back matchups.

In Batum’s absence, Robert Covington is expected to take his place in the starting lineup.

While Covington may not be the star he once was, he should still contribute in terms of three-pointers and defensive statistics.

Danuel House is likely to receive some additional playing time off the bench, but it’s unlikely to be significant enough to warrant consideration in standard fantasy leagues.

KJ Martin and Marcus Morris haven’t been part of the regular rotation, but there’s a possibility they could see some minutes in this particular game.

With Batum sidelined, his next opportunity to return to the court is anticipated to be against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.
