Lebanese professional Basketball player, Norvel Pelle, is closer to signing a training camp deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Norvel Pelle deal has been revealed to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, who also made it public in a tweet Wednesday night.
Norvel Pelle made his debut in the NBA in July 2019. This was after he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers a two-way contract. On February 7, 2020, his deal was converted to a standard contract.
Shortly after leaving the 76ers, Pelle was signed by Cleveland Cavaliers On December 19, 2020. However, the Cavaliers also waived Pelle before he could feature for them.
The 29-year old player spent most of his career playing in the NBA G League. He so far played in five G League teams since 2013.
Pelle also had a short stint playing in the Italian professional basketball league. He also played in the Taiwanese basketball leagues, as well as the Lebanese league.
