Nuggets Coach Michael Malone Believes Rockets Have A New Identity Worthy of a Championship Run

The Houston Rockets concluded their seven-game homestand last night by putting an end to the Denver Nuggets’ four-game undefeated streak in a closely contested match, securing a 107-104 victory.

Michael Malone, the coach of the Denver Nuggets, observed a significant transformation in the revamped Rockets. According to Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle,

Malone remarked, “They’re a different team. When you bring in an All-Star like Freddy VanVleet, an all-defense player like Dillon Brooks, and a seasoned veteran in Jeff Green who played a crucial role in our championship victory, along with a new coaching staff led by Ime Udoka, they’ve clearly established a new identity and culture.”

Up next, the Houston Rockets will be hitting the road to face James Harden’s Los Angeles Clippers, who have been grappling with challenges in adapting to Harden’s presence.

The Clippers have faced a string of defeats, losing all five of their last games. The Houston Rockets are eager to further extend this losing streak to six games as they aim for their seventh consecutive victory.
