Prior to the Chicago game, Murray had been a fixture on the court for all six of the team’s initial games, averaging 18.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per contest.

His shooting percentages were at 43.6% from the field and 43.8% from beyond the three-point line.

The Nuggets have been impressive with a 6-1 record in their first seven games, the most recent being a convincing 123-101 win over the Chicago Bulls at home on Saturday, in which Murray contributed only 2 points and 2 rebounds before his early exit.
