The UGSRC, in collaboration with the Pent JCR, is gearing up to bring yet another electrifying wave of entertainment to students this semester. Building on the success of their previous collaboration, the Pent Live Invasion, these two student bodies are joining forces once again to bring yet another night of  unforgettable experiences to the vibrant Legon campus.

Earlier this semester, the Pent Live Invasion rocked the campus, leaving a lasting impression on students’ minds. This remarkable event, hosted as part of the UGSRC’s 65th-anniversary celebrations, attracted thousands of enthusiastic concert-goers.

The UGSRC and the Pentagon hostel, in collaboration with Vodafone Ghana, one of the country’s leading telecommunication networks, are currently preparing for their upcoming event, Afrowave. Following the lifting of restrictions on covid-19 a few weeks ago, public meetings, including musical events, have been taking place all over campus as the university community transition to its normal way of life. Afrowave aims to fuse the pulsating beats of afrobeats with an electrifying atmosphere, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and excitement. With the SRC and the Pent JCR at the helm, this event is expected to bring smiles to the faces of students and concert-goers alike throughout the campus for the third consecutive time. The collaboration with Vodafone Ghana adds another layer of excitement, promising a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.
