Indian billionaire businessman, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, has died in the early morning of Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was 62, and had a net worth of $5.5 billion.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala death occurred at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, after he complained of health issues in the morning, and was rushed to the hospital.
Doctors in the hospital where the billionaire died have indicated that he suffered health problems related to his kidney. They added also that the billionaire suffered multiple organ failure when a scan was carried on him upon admission at the hospital.
However, when the news of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala death came, it sparked reactions all over the world. People on both Facebook and twitter have been paying tributes to the billionaire.
The Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi, in his reaction to Rakesh’s demise, said in a tweet: “Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His passing away is saddening. My condolences to his family and admirers…”
