Toronto Raptors’ Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley participated fully in Thursday’s practice, while RJ Barrett practiced without making physical contact, reports Eric Koreen of the Athletic.
Poeltl, who has been out for 11 consecutive games due to a left ankle sprain, has a chance to return to the lineup against Houston on Friday.
Thad Young and Jontay Porter have been playing center in his absence, but their playing time will likely decrease once Poeltl returns.
Quickley, who has missed the last three games with a right quadriceps contusion, could also return on Friday, potentially reducing playing time for Gary Trent Jr. and Dennis Schroder.
However, Schroder and Trent Jr. may still play if Barrett misses his third consecutive game on Friday. Bruce Brown and Jordan Nwora would benefit the most if Barrett remains out.
The Raptors will continue their road trip at the Toyota Center on Friday to face the Houston Rockets after winning against the Chicago Bulls last night.
They are currently 1-1 in their last two road trip games and will aim to make a difference against a formidable Houston team with a strong home record this season.
