Star Guard Devin Booker Set to Make Long-Awaited Return Against Spurs on Thursday.

After being absent from the past three games due to an ankle injury, Devin Booker, the star guard of the Phoenix Suns, is set to make his return on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Booker’s last appearance was in the Suns’ season opener on October 24. In his debut game of the season, Booker delivered an impressive performance, contributing 32 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in a narrow four-point victory for the Suns over the Warriors.

Booker’s comeback brings the Suns one step closer to regaining their full roster strength. Following their acquisition of Bradley Beal during the summer, the Suns’ “big three” of Booker, Beal, and Kevin Durant have yet to play together in a game.

In Booker’s absence, Eric Gordon has been starting and has averaged 16.5 points in his first four outings with Phoenix.

During Booker’s hiatus, the Suns had a 1-2 record, while in the previous season, they struggled with an 11-18 record when Booker was out of the lineup, compared to a more successful 34-19 record when he was on the court.
