Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry is confident about their chances of securing another championship for the 2023-2024 season.

In a recent conversation with Gilbert Arenas, Steph Curry discussed the collective mindset shared by himself and the Golden State Warriors as they approach the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

“We’re in pursuit now, no longer the ones being pursued… this season marks our opportunity,” remarked Steph Curry during his appearance on the Gilbert Arenas Show, as reported by Ball Don’t Lie on X (formerly Twitter).

In the previous season, as Curry stated, the Warriors were the ones being pursued, given their status as defending NBA champions. However, this time, the spotlight will shift to the Denver Nuggets as they become the focus of attention.

The Warriors have managed to retain their core trio of Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. This triumphant trio has clinched four championships, securing three titles in just four years, spanning from 2015 to 2018.

In 2022, the trio secured their third championship by defeating the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.

The 2022-2023 season proved disappointing for the Warriors. As the sixth seed in the Western Conference, they managed to eliminate the Sacramento Kings in seven games during the first round of the playoffs.

However, their journey ended with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round, and the series included some discouraging defeats.

The upcoming season presents a formidable challenge in the Western Conference, given the strength of teams like the Nuggets, Lakers, Suns, and others. Nevertheless, the Warriors have previously defied doubts to emerge victorious.

A determined Stephen Curry often proves to be a formidable force. His motivation stems from the loss to the Lakers, and he’s also fueled by the belief of fans who think that Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green may not win more championships in their careers.
