Warriors Make a Roster Move Ahead of Timberwolves Showdown

The Golden State Warriors have executed a roster maneuver, recalling forward Gui Santos from their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, in preparation for the upcoming clash against the Timberwolves, as officially announced on Tuesday.

Santos, slated to be part of the Warriors’ roster for the next three seasons, boasts statistical averages of 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.00 blocks during 27.7 minutes of play across two games, both of which he started, with Santa Cruz in the ongoing season.

Having been chosen by Golden State as the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft, the Brazilian participated in 43 games with Santa Cruz in the preceding season, accumulating average figures of 10.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists within a 25.1-minute per game framework.
