Nikola Jokic has also been kicked out of the game against the Detroit Pistons, so now the Nuggets are missing two important team members: Jokic and Malone

In the first quarter, Malone got hit with a double-technical. Then, in the second quarter, Jokic got his second technical.

He did this weird thing where he stopped dribbling during the game to stare at the ref, and even after the play was over, he wouldn’t stop arguing ; hence leading to his ejection.

The Nuggets got a last-second layup, making it 56-55 at halftime, thanks to some clutch play. But for the second half, both Nikola Jokic and Michael Malone won’t be around as aforementioned.

There’s talk going around that the Pistons’ local broadcast wasn’t happy about Jokic getting ejected as Bennett Durando of Denver Post notes.

The Joker finishes with a stat line of nine points, five rebounds, five assists, one block, and one 3-pointer. Zeke Nnaji is expected to have more playing time, and there’s a possibility that DeAndre Jordan might get on the court after being out of the rotation.
