During Monday night’s game against the New York Knicks, Jrue Holiday, the Boston Celtics guard, reached a milestone by scoring his ninth point, surging past the 15,000 career points mark.
This achievement places him in an exclusive club, as only 146 other players in NBA history have achieved this feat, with a mere 19 of them still actively playing.

What makes Holiday’s accomplishment even more remarkable is that he is now part of a highly select group, making him the ninth active player to amass 15,000 points and 5,000 assists.
His fellow members in this elite group include LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, Kyle Lowry, and Mike Conley.
In his first nine games with the Boston Celtics, Holiday has maintained an average of 12.8 points on a 44.1 percent shooting rate, along with 5.9 assists, and notably, a career-high 7.3 rebounds per game.
