Wes Unseld Jr. Joins Chicago Bulls as Lead Assistant Coach

The Chicago Bulls are bringing on Wes Unseld Jr. as an assistant coach, with him slated to be the lead assistant under head coach Billy Donovan, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Unseld previously served as the head coach of the Washington Wizards for the last two and a half years, until his dismissal halfway through the recent season.

Before his head coaching role with the Wizards, Unseld spent six years as one of Michael Malone’s key assistants with the Denver Nuggets. He also has experience as an assistant coach with the Wizards, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic.
