Shareef O’Neal is a professional basketball player who was born on March 6, 1998, in Los Angeles, California.
The 22 years old star is the son of legendary basketball players; Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie Nelson.
Shareef started playing basketball when he was just four years old, and he has always loved the sport.
He was a RedShirt during his first season in college with the UCLA Bruins, when he underwent heart surgery.
In 2016, he committed to play for UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team, the ReaShirts. After one year at UCLA, he decided to enter the 2018 NBA draft. On June 21, 2018, he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 30th overall pick. While at UCLA, Shareef underwent an open-heart surgery to correct a congenital heart condition he was diagnosed with.
He also played for the Louisiana State University (LSU) Men’s basketball team for two years.
Shareef stands 6 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He is a power forward who can also play center. Shareef has a lot of talent and potential; however, he still has a lot to learn about the game.
He has three siblings namely; Shaqir O’Neal, a basketball player; Taahirah O’Neal, and Myles B. O’Neal, a musician and Disc Jockey (DJ).
