On Saturday, the Washington Wizards made an official announcement regarding Delon Wright’s injury, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Delon Wright suffered a sprained left knee following contact with an opponent during the fourth quarter of last night’s game vs. Charlotte. The injury will be treated conservatively and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.

Wright, who injured his knee in a game against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, was initially expected to be out for at least the next two games.
However, he has now been diagnosed with an MCL sprain in his right knee, which will sideline him for an estimated period of 4 to 6 weeks.
During his absence, Landry Shamet and Johnny Davis are potential contenders to receive extended playing time in the upcoming weeks.
