Johnny Davis of the Washington Wizards, who had been dealing with an elbow injury, will be available to make his season debut against the Boston Celtics, according to the Wizards’ injury report for Monday’s game.
Davis had missed the first two games of the season due to a left elbow sprain. He had an average of 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game during his rookie season but had shown promise during this year’s Summer League.
It’s unclear how Davis will be integrated into the team’s rotation, but he’s back and ready to contribute when needed.
Additionally, Daniel Gafford is questionable due to a left ankle sprain, and Landry Shamet is sidelined with a toe fracture.
The Washington Wizards, with a 1-1 record, will host the undefeated Boston Celtics (2-0) at the Capital One Arena, with the game set to tip-off at 8:00 PM EST.
