Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Questionable to Return to Game 5 vs Lakers

Update : KCP has returned to the game.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is questionable to return for Game 5 on Monday against the Lakers. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Caldwell-Pope injured his ankle during Game 5 against the Lakers and had to be assisted to the locker room.

The injury occurred towards the end of the first quarter, and he struggled to put weight on his leg while being helped off the court. As of now, the severity of his injury is unknown.

Caldwell-Pope has been a crucial role player for the team, averaging 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during the regular season. He has been shooting efficiently, with a 46.0% field goal percentage and a 40.6% three-point percentage in 76 games.

The Nuggets are currently leading the series 3-1 against the Lakers, so a win on Monday would mean the end of the series. In the recent Game 4, which the Nuggets lost 119-108 in Los Angeles, Caldwell-Pope contributed 14 points, two rebounds, three assists, and four steals in 40 minutes of play.
